Verizon EVDO and Cradlepoint PHS300 - Perfect Match for Travellers

Our Verizon U720 EVDO 3G modem and CradlePoint PHS300 Hotspot router performed flawless on our month long vacation to Florida. We stayed in orange grove country with limited high speed Internet. My wife's parents have DSL in their home, but where we were staying, there was no connection period. I plugged the EVDO modem into the CradlePoint router and we were able to access all things Internet during our entire stay. When I need to pull down podcasts, videos, or anything else a little bandwidth intensive, I would go over to my in-laws, or visit the Panera or Starbucks in town. But for email, web browsing, etc., the EVDO worked great. We stayed just under the 5GB cap and I am using it in the van right now as we are driving through Kentucky.
